Hi, I’m Catherine, founder of Dragonfly Sweet Co.
If you’d told me a few years ago that my career in HR
and my love of sweets would eventually come together to create
a business focused on corporate engagement and gifting,
I probably wouldn't have believed you!
But looking back, it actually makes perfect sense.
For more than 20 years, I've worked in the HR and People space,
building my career around understanding people, supporting them,
recognising their contribution and helping create environments
where people can feel valued and connected.
And alongside that, I've always had a creative side.
Dragonfly started as a small hobby, a way for me to explore my creativity. What began with a little pick & mix and a lot of creativity quickly became something much bigger.
Then I realised the two worlds weren't as different as they seemed.
A bag of sweets might seem like a simple thing.
But think about what happens when you give someone a beautifully presented gift.
They open it.
They smile.
They share it with someone.
They talk about it.
They remember who gave it to them.
That's connection. That's engagement.
And that's where Dragonfly has evolved.
Today, I combine my 20+ years of People experience with creativity and the power of premium confectionery to help businesses create thoughtful experiences for their employees, customers and clients.
